TECHNICAL RIDER
TEAM COMPOSITION
Number of performers: 11
(10 people on stage, choir artists), director
ACOUSTIC SYSTEM (PA)
The required power of the device is selected based on 100 seats = 1 kW, but not less than 0.5 kW. For open areas - 3 kW. The acoustic system must be professional level, from manufacturers
Meyer Sound / TurboSound / Electro-Voice / L-Acoustics or similar in class.
Portals should be in front of the stage, or at the very edge of the stage to avoid feedback from the microphones.
FOH CONTROL
An analog or digital mixing console is required, with at least 16 input channels with at least two bands of parametric equalization, 8 AUX (6 prefaders and 2 postfaders), with 8 subgroups, of the Allen&Heath, Midas, Digico, Digidesign, Yamaha DM2000 or similar class.
The console is located in the center of the hall, in direct line of sight of the stage, has lighting of the working area and communication with the stage (TalkBack). Placing the FOH console behind the stage, under the stage, to the side of the stage is possible only in the case of a digital console with remote control.
A sound engineer from the venue is required. The choir does not have its own sound engineer.
STAGE EQUIPMENT (BACKLINE)
Monitors
Monitors from manufacturers: Martin Audio, Meyer Sound, JBL, Yamaha, Turbo Sound or similar in class with a power of at least 50 W (RMS) each. Quantity - from 4 to 6 floor cabinets.
1 monitor line is required for the entire choir.
For open areas, shoot-throughs with a power of at least 5 kW are required.
Microphones
10 vocal radio microphones without stands.
Fresh alkaline (!) batteries are required in all radio microphones.
Sound processing is at the discretion of the sound engineer and choir director.
Microphones are divided into groups:
Soprano 2
Altos 3
Tenors 1 microphone
Baritones 2 microphones
Bass 1 microphone
Beatbox 1 microphone
If the console is analog, then compression can be assigned to a group. It is decided on-site during the sound check.
OTHER
The power supply for the sound equipment must be separate from the lighting! The voltage in the network is 220 volts. Grounding is a must. Galvanically isolated!
Light
Standard: overhead spotlights, ramp. The presence of a backlight is welcome.
Sound check
Provided that all equipment is fully prepared, the required time for the sound check is:
For open areas - at least 45 minutes.
For closed areas - at least 30 minutes.
