Description
Elmar Safaraliev is a pianist and composer who unites classical tradition and jazz improvisation into a seamless musical dialogue. A graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Mikhail Pletnev), he is a participant in international jazz festivals across Russia and Europe.
Elmar's musical style represents a dialogue between eras and cultures: from Bach and Ravel to Oscar Peterson and contemporary original compositions. His childhood in Baku, training in Moscow, and concert activity in Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, and Germany have shaped a unique artistic voice where Eastern sensibility, academic depth, and jazz freedom coexist as parts of a unified whole.
Performance Programs:
- Solo Recital — Chamber program: classical works (Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel) and original compositions. Duration: 60-90 minutes.
- Jazz Standards & Improvisation — Jazz standards in original interpretation, improvisations on themes by great composers. Format: solo or trio (piano, double bass, drums). Duration: 60-120 minutes.
- Crossover Program — Synthesis of classical and jazz: Bach in jazz arrangement, Ravel through the prism of improvisation, dialogue of epochs. Format: solo or duo. Duration: 75-90 minutes.
- Musical Accompaniment for Events — Background music for receptions, banquets, corporate events. Repertoire: jazz standards, lounge, light classical arrangements.

✓ Graduate of Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory
✓ Class of People's Artist of Russia Mikhail Pletnev
✓ Participant in international jazz festivals (Russia, Turkey, Europe)
